Friends. 'Nough Said.

Ok. Take it in. Breathe in. Breathe out.
First off, I want to say that I'm the one of the far right. My good friends, Erin (center) and Kelly (left) are the two lovely ladies accompanying me in this photo.
Why am I putting up this photo? Besides the fact that I don't care how silly I look (and that my pastor already posted it on Facebook, so the damage is pretty much done already), I want to prove a point.
What is a true friend?
A person who you can confide in.
A person you can trust with your life.
A person who you would stand in front of a bullet for, and they'd do the same for you.
A person you can dance all night with till the dawn.
A person you can be yourself around.
A person you can be your not-self around.
A person who can accept you for better or for worse.
Someone who will drop everything to see you if you're in despair.
Someone who knows you from the inside out.
Someone who won't mind your silliness or craziness.
Someone who you can go to for help and advice, and you won't feel like a burden to them.

And lastly, I think at least, someone who will take a silly photo with you and not be embarrassed about it, no matter how "beautiful" you may look.
These two girls have given me friendship and have taught me lessons. I appreciate them so much, and they've taught me to appreciate everything around me, too. For that, I figured they deserved a little recognition, and I figured the blogging world might want to know what I've recently discovered about friends.
